The Royal Thai Restaurant is a family owned and operated business. Established over ten years ago with a staff of 6, at 4 Dunlop street Barrie, the Royal Thai Restaurant has overcome many obstacles and only gained momentum. On December 6th 2007, An explosion rattled the downtown core in the city of Barrie. The Restaurant next to the Royal Thai exploded, destroying everything around it, including the Royal Thai Restaurant. The proud owners, Ly & Pha did not let that stop them. After nearly 7 months of rebuilding, the Royal Thai Restaurant reopend on July 11th 2008 with a staff of 9.

The Royal Thai Restaurant of Barrie is proud to bring to you, the tastes of Thailand and with dedication.

Deeply rooted within the city of Barrie and its surrounding area, the Royal Thai Restaurant has been actively engaged as a community partner. From sponsoring the Peewee AE Barrie Colts and the Community Rugby Football Club to supporting the Barrie Police Foundation, a local church group and Barrie Centrals Senior Boys.
